I enjoyed it. It is shorter than the other books in the series, but the artwork keeps getting better and it is is in color. I wish there was a bed & breakfast like this, because Kyle's cooking sounds yummy. You can count on this book to have a mostly feel-good storyline with a bunch of characters you end up caring about. I hope another compilation comes out soon.

Greg Fox offers us his 4th installment of the drama and adventure of Kyle's Bed and Breakfast. As always the art is wonderfully drawn and the story line keeps us wanting more from Fox. We should all have such a place to become a part.

I love this book!

Another compilation from Greg Fox, and well worth the wait. Every character and plot line to get reacquainted with along with a healthy dose of the male physique. Just perfect! Now if only Greg would create these strips faster.

I just took the PSB and can say that the practice test in this book was similar to the test. It’s not 100% the same but you’ll be better prepared for the randomized questions on the actual test if you can master what is in this book.The instructional videos were helpful for quick remastering of subjects you probably haven’t thought about in years (geology and math for me).The book also explains how you’re scored on the PSB. It’s important to understand that so you can more effectively take the test.

I purchased the PSB practical nursing exam secrets study guide and practice exam questions after multiple people recommended both products! I rate both products with a 5 because I have found both products extremely helpful in my studying and preparation for this exam, the way everything is organized and the amount of material covered allows me to breathe a sigh of relief and feel like I am as prepared as possible! The material is easy to follow and understand and the videos from the links provide beneficial supplemental information for the topic!

I have used other study guides and this by far, is the best one yet. I have taken the PSB PN before and this study guide has been the closed to the material in the actual exam. I did pretty when I took it a few years ago and am very confident that I will be close to acing it this time around! I would recommend this product over others to anyone else taking the PSB PN exam!

The author obviously keeps up with the news and brings to light how our failing government needs to start doing it's job. When average Americans are forced to take up a fight, relegated by our constitution to be the job of government, we all have a problem. Liberal leftists and RINO Republicans are the biggest problem we face in the national security arena, as so thoroughly outlined in this book. Unfortunately the author allowed this book to be published without having it professionally edited, hence 4 stars rather than five. Writing is repetitive in places and could use some tightening up. I highly recommend this book and have already ordered the follow-on "Citizen Warrior Series - Book 2: One Down.".

This book started quickly and was initially put together well. There were a couple of issues that actually made the books plot more real but at the same time was sort of annoying and that was the terror the main character showed.The fact that he was able too work through it showed that the character was not a coward but he continues to second guess himself throughout the book. As I stated it was probably realistic but it did get annoying. Hopefully he will not continue this having resolved it best the end of the book. There was a lot of action in the book and hopefully this continues in the next book.

Unless your head is buried in the sand (I.e.- mainstream misleadia) you know our government is NOT doing their job protecting us from enemies, foreign and domestic. This story describes what must happen in the near future ( assuming it hasn’t already). It’s a great story that captures what most intelligent Americans feel now and think about daily.Great book, can’t wait for the next...

This book has a good story that is very relevant to what we face today. However, a lot of the book is filled with so much detail that it really drags. It probably took ten pages for the two main characters to decide what they were going to order for dinner.

I thought this might be an interesting book. And while it could have been developed into a good read, the author tried to bring us along on his anti-US rants. It sounded like he had been coached by the person at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Too bad.....

Good story. The author made the characters real or had depth to be honest. The story itself showed how very close this country is heading in that direction. Or are we there yet? But didn’t know it. Looking forward to the next book.

A compe!ling story that stretched believability somewhat. It is also frightening to think those threats truly exist and that our government is impotent to address them.

The book had an enormous amount of filler material that distracted from the plot. Also, the writing jumped around alot which further distracted from whatever story the author was trying to tell.

Ugh, I wish it wouldn’t end, but sadly it seems it has to. Kurose and Shirotani are everything to me and I wish them nothing but happiness. I loved this latest volume and ending and just want more.The erotica was perfection and the narrative was classic. A+. Ugh. I need more of my lovers!

The series is done. That is terrible BUT I love this series and I will love it forever. I have followed this series since volume 2. It is wonderful and emotional and it ended happily. I will always want more.

An amazing series I highly recommend. It is psychological, and thought provoking, so if you only want fluff this isn’t for you. The two MC’s are a perfect fit. Sad their story is over, but I’m happy with the ending.

Ohhhh ya know... always a good time with Shirotani and Kurose. Sad that this is the last volume of the manga, but now I'm excited to look into other works by the author.

While I’m bummed the series ended abruptly due to complaints for how long it took for chapters to be submitted and translated, I’m still happy I picked up Ten Count. Truly more than just obligatory sex scenes and excessive lack of deeper character growth for everyone associated with the main romantic couple.

Storyline and Artwork are awesome. Anything Rihito Takarai does - I buy!

ten count is very easily one my favorite mangas. even without the romance, i would read the entire series - no problem. the plot is brilliant and the character designs are top notch. as well, the art is beautiful. 10/10.

About the Author

R. A. MONTGOMERY attended Hopkins Grammar School, Williston-Northampton School and Williams College where he graduated in 1958. He pursued graduate studies in Religion and Economics at Yale and NYU. Montgomery was an adventurer all his life, climbing mountains in the Himalaya, skiing throughout Europe and scuba-diving wherever he could. His interested included education, macro-economics, geo-politics, mythology, history, mystery novels and music. He wrote his first interactive book, Journey Under the Sea, in 1976 and published it under the series name The Adventures of You. A few years later Bantam Books bought this book and gave Montgomery a contract for five more, to inaugurate their new children s publishing division. Bantam renamed the series Choose Your Own Adventure and a publishing phenomenon was born. The series has sold more than 260 million copies in over 40 languages. He was married to the writer Shannon Gilligan. Montgomery died in November 2014, only two months after his last book was published.

Pretty much the only time I've been unable to finish a Choose Your Own Adventure book is when R.A. Montgomery has written it. This is one of those times. It's not only bad but also nonsensical and unsatisfying. Once in a while he writes a fun book, but more often than not he writes just slightly above incoherence.The Lost Jewels of Nabooti is the 10th in the series (4th in the reissues). It focuses on you trying to find said Jewels which have been stolen from your uncle and are said to be cursed. Most of the action takes place in Paris, Morocco, or various countries in Africa. My first read-through ended abruptly when it turned out my cousins who hired me (in Boston) were now in Morocco not only with the jewels but also as part of a secret society. Here are a couple of lines from this stupid ending: "We offer you membership in the International Tribe of Nabooti. This is an honor few people get- fewer still hear of." Haha, does this mean there are lots of members who don't know they're members? If I chose a different path it turns out my cousins' house is filled with traps that kill me. So that stinks.The art by Paul Granger, who did a lot of the early CYOAs, is pretty good. Lots of dynamic action though a few of the pictures look like they've been blown up. I noticed in one picture a character described as having no fingernails and no lines around the corners of his mouth had both. There might be other art inconsistencies but I couldn't bring myself to finish this thing to find them.R.A. Montgomerysms that I noticed in my brief read:He dedicated the book to his sons, I believe, Anson and Ramsey. In the book you might come across three of the narrator's friends. They are Anson, Ramsey, and --Beech Muzzwell!?Thankfully there's a picture to give me an idea of what a djellaba is. A 'scrosh' on the other hand I am still unfamiliar with.Montgomery's got beef with midgets. In my quick read I encountered two of them. One smiled evilly and had a knife in his hands. The other dressed like a child and blew me up with a fake dog.Continuity is non-existent. In one abrupt ending my cousins left me a note saying that it's all good, they found the jewels. If I choose the other path they're still looking. If you continue on that path your next decision either leads you to being kidnapped or to the jewels magically floating to you as chosen leader of peace and justice. So that's special. The thing about being kidnapped is it's done by one big, unarmed man with his bare hands. Somehow, you with a loaded gun, and a trained Interpol, agent also with a loaded gun, couldn't stop him. In fact in all the paths after you've opted to carry a gun lead to you never using or even mentioning it.If you get lead to any of the pages in the 100s your adventure's probably over.Sometimes the jewels are jewels, sometimes a character will go to the bathroom and magically find them all ground up, sometimes they're a symbol for people fighting for world peace, and sometimes 'they are where you find them -wherever you look'.Turn to one ending and all you'll get is 'Playing safe, aren't you? Double back, seek Raoul, but in the end, give up the chase for these fabled gems. You will never find them. TOO BAD. The End'. I think that was the final straw for me.Another ending, on the page after you decide to visit someone, has a terrorist bomb go off in a subway and kill you. Said terrorist has nothing to do with the plot. Or if he does, it's kept a secret from the reader.You can search for a Kurtz in the deep jungle. You however can't be Martin Sheen no matter which path you choose.

About the Author

Born and raised in small-town Texas, Jolie and Amie Sikes graduated from Texas A&M University but soon after realized the nine-to-five life was not for them. What an amazing and inspiring story. This book is more than just junk (although it has a glorious amount of that,) but it is a story of family. The Sike's family are amazing people that you think could only exist in fairy tales. Mama and Daddy Sikes sent there daughters off to University with the expectation that they would happily enter corporate America, but the sisters souls were restless. They knew this was not their passion and left their secure futures to pursue their dreams. They knew they had a gypsy spirit and bringing life back to old and discarded items was their mission. They do it with grace, God, grit and a whole lot of glitter! This book will inspire even non junk gypsies to follow their arrow and pursue what they love!

I have dogeared, highlighted, written in the margins, circled quotes, underlined, and I am on my way back through for a second go. I LOVE BOOKS!!! They are amazing. Holy JuNkiNg goodness!!! This book is so full inspiration for every person on the planet! The photos in the book are incredible and the stories from the Sikes sisters are just over the top wonderful. Full of tips and tricks to paint and upcycle old items, you'll want to get to the nearest garage sale in a jiffy!!

Ok, so there is a lot about these sisters and their journey in this book, but it still is fun eye candy. There are a few project instructions, but this book is more about an attitude. I like to just look at this book to see things I might have missed on tv. The chippy, peely junk with some glitter thrown in (or on) is just pure fun! I like having this book on the coffee table for a bright spot in the day.

This is a pretty good book on general Korean culture and history. This book is mainly made for people that have very little information on the subject of Korea and does a pretty decent job of elaborating on some of the nuances of Korean culture and its history. For people that do not know anything about Korean history and culture the book is a fun read that will be able to be read fairly quickly. Although this is a good book for foreigners to read, I have heard from some people that the book is not entirely accurate as a book on culture is extremely difficult to make accurate. In general the book seems to be good and definitely resonates strongly with me as a person who grew up with Korean culture. One other caveat is that the book is slightly biased in a more Western view. You can feel a slight bias against certain traditional aspects of the culture in Korea. Certain more western ideas seem to be shown as superior and that the culture should adapt rather than a more unbiased look at the culture. All in all it is a great book to read and seems for the most part accurate.

Korea. The impossible Country is a passionate comprehensive introduction to Korea, its culture and its people. The book is easy to read, engaging, very informative, and a great introduction to the country, especially if you intend visiting. Tudor's depth of knowledge is admirable and impressive and although his expertise is economics and business, the book has a soul. What is more, Tudor is able to dig into the Korean soul and present it to you in its many faces. You will dive through Korea's collective psyche and understand why Koreans behave and do things in a certain way.This book could have been a Wikipedia sort of book or a travel guide sort of book but it succeeds at being none of that but being informative and a good companion from travelling. The book touches on the eternal and the mundane in five fascinating sections:1- Foundations: We are presented with a brief analysis of the most influential religions in Korea (Buddhism, Christianity and Confucianism) and the specific forms that Capitalism and Democracy take in that country.2- Cultural Codes: We immerse ourselves into those beliefs, ways of being and attitudes that make Koreans who they are: Jeong, Chemyon, Han, Heung, competition, family and neophilia.3- Cold Reality, focuses on those aspects of life that make the functioning of society possible but aren't as thrilling as others: politics, business, work, marriage, studying and being fluent in English.4- In the hours not spent working: eating, drinking, music, cinema, and the living space are the subject of this section.5- More of Us and Less of them, analyses Korean attitudes towards foreigners, gays, women, and the many faces of Korean nationalism.The book is preceded by short historical introduction. Nothing boring, it is short and sweet, very informative and a good introduction to the History of Korea. Plenty of historical details are also found in each chapter when a historical background is needed.The epilogue is a brief summary of what Tudor discusses throughout the book, that is, what makes Koreans a remarkable nation and the challenges that Korea has and needs to face in the changing world we live in.Tudor is basically an economist and there are plenty of statistics and business and economical references in the book. However, they add to the overall believability of the book.I love that one can read the chapters individually if one wants, as they are complete in themselves, making the book very versatile and practical.I didn't find any typo in the book, something really cool.THE ABSENTEES>>> Two of the main absentees in the book are Korea's working classes and rural dwellers, who are barely mentioned. Korea is a very urban country. I get that, but I would have liked having a bit of more background on rural areas and rural culture and see how they differ from the urban Korea or not. On the other hand, the working class is barely mentioned, and I would have liked to know more about them as well. Are their interests, struggles and obsessions the same as those people who would send their kids to an American University and have plastic surgery to look better in their resumé?>>> There is a total absence of Korean literature, theatre and visual arts regarding painting, sculpture and experimental visual arts and artists in section 4. Korea has a vibrant literary scene, a scene where women are dominating and are well-respected. Any visual artists that is not part of the film industry...?>>> One of the chapters I was looking forward to read was that on Korean food. One can find a list of typical Korean dishes anywhere, so I expected this chapter to go beyond that and offer a bit of depth about Korean culinary culture. Tudor does so superficially. Some of the questions that interest me and aren't mentioned are: Which hours do they eat in the day? Is their main meal in the morning, midday or evening? Is there a foodie culture in Korea as we have it in Western countries? Is eating out expensive? Do Korean have a strong street food culture as other Asian countries? Does everybody cook at home these days or is still a women's task? Which differences do you see in food eating according to social classes in Korea? Is there a "vernacular" tea culture in Korea? Do they love programs like MasterChef? Which foreign foods do they love the most? I think Tudor knows all of this and more, so I would love have loved that sort of information commented on, even if lightly. Perhaps in the new edition of the book?KOREAN, REALLY?Some of the things Tudor says about Korean can be seen also in Western Europe, USA and Australia, so I wonder whether those are specifically Korean, and in which ways they are specifically Korean.For example:> Yummy mummies who don't work using their children's achievements to push their own egos and, therefore, push their kids unnecessarily for their own sake are everywhere.> The obsession with technology. Yes, sure, Korean moves faster than other countries in the world of gadgets, but you find similar obsessions with gadgets and technology in many Western countries. there are many people camping outside their local Apple store before the launch of a new gadget or new version of a gadget to get it.> Gay actors who keep in the closet not to destroy their careers. Certainly, gay people have a brighter life in the Western World (Western Europe especially) but, where I live, there are constant items of news on TV about people being abused, bullied or marginalised because they are gay. The Australian ex-swimmer Ian Thorpe, had depression, publicly denied being guy, wrote a biography in which he denied it, and when he came out of the closet said that he had kept it secret out of fear because he didn't know if his country would accept him. Also in Australia, a pop singer Anthony Callea kept his gay self hidden for work career purposes, he said, as most of his fans were female teens. Of course, nobody is making life difficult for them, but people who aren't famous have a more difficult day to day.> The problem of the ageing population and low birth rates. I cannot but agree with what Tudor says, but this is not a typically Korean problem, as it affects most countries of Western Europe, Spain and Italy with one the lowest birth rates in the world and the population ageing at the speed of ageing :).THE EDITINGI notice the editing when the editing is not as good as it should be. I don't mean editing as in correcting typos and odd grammar sentences, I mean editing as the proper job of editing a book by professional editors.> Tudor repeats himself quite often, things are said over and over again in different chapters, sometimes in the same chapter, and it is not always necessary. Just one example, the per capita earnings of Koreans in the post-war era.> At times the book reads like a blog, others like a newspaper article, and others as a proper book. That is distracting to me and not good for any book.> The "Special Feature: Interview with Choi Min-sik" feels like a cut-&-paste from a blog or article added here. I don't know if that is the case, but it reads as a pastiche. The question that matters here is, is this interview really relevant to know the film culture of Korea and necessary to be included in the book? The answer is no.> The data that Tudor uses for some references to religious practices relates to the 1990s! Hello hello, 2016 calling. I wonder how accurate the statistics were in 2012, when the book was written, and today.> The author mentions a few books and articles, but does not quote them properly I understand that the book is for the general public, but including a footnote when an explicit reference is mentioned will not disturb the general populace, it is a matter of courtesy to the author mentioned, a professional backup for your reputation, and some readers could be interested in that book or article. Just an example: " In a paper on the influence of chemyon on Korean consumer culture, Yoosun Hann of the University of Illinois wrote that it was important “not to stand out, but to fit in” (pp. 112-113)RENDERING FOR KINDLE~~ The comprehensive final index is not rendered for Kindle, therefore, not linked, therefore, useless for Kindle users. Moreover, the number of pages relates to the printed edition. Cheat! Cheat! Cheat!~~ If I get an e-book, I expect the book to have any website mentioned in the text out-linked.A WISHAfter reading the book I am sure he is an expert on Korea. Why not including a list of must-read books and reputed sources on Korea?IN SHORTI cannot highlight enough how much I enjoyed this book and how much I recommend it to anybody who wants to know about Korea. However, the book is not polished enough, and some areas and social groups are not mentioned or barely so.

Ok, I read this book while I am at the laundry mat, so it took a while to read it before I could write a review. It is a super interesting book! I have been watching Korean dramas since 2010 and read about this book on a Korean addict's blog. Yup, this book is great for explaining a lot of stuff that we never heard about. Before Korean/Asian dramas entered my world, Asia was basically a blank spot on my map. Yeah, I knew that Japan had paper walls because of earthquakes, and they used to dress in kimonos and eat with chop sticks, but that's about it. Korea had a war called the Korean war. Talk about ignorance on my part! This book helps to explain what happened after the Korean war, how they went about it and why, and all manner of interesting things like culture, history, work ethics or lack thereof, Korean concepts that don't exist here in the west, and the Korean Wave phenomenon. The book is very well written by someone who obviously knows what he is talking about. I would recommend this for everyone because Koreans are just plain fascinating people.
